The 2026 Bay Area ADU Expo Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Convo Events LLC, organizer of the Bay Area ADU Expo (“Sponsor”).

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

1. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes will take place during the public days of the 2026 Bay Area ADU Expo at The Bridge Yard in Oakland, California:

Saturday, September 26, 2026: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time
Sunday, September 27, 2026: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time

The Sweepstakes begins at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on September 26, 2026 and ends at 4:00 PM Pacific Time on September 27, 2026.

Entries received outside the applicable entry period will not be eligible.

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of California who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The Sweepstakes is intended for public attendees of the Bay Area ADU Expo.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors, event staff, volunteers, sponsors, participating vendors, exhibitors, speakers, prize providers, and agents of Convo Events LLC, as well as members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to win.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, donation, or financial transaction is required to enter or win.

Admission to the Bay Area ADU Expo is free.

Purchasing products or services from an exhibitor, Sponsor, MasayaCo, or any other participating company will not provide additional Sweepstakes entries or improve an entrant’s odds of winning.

4. How to Enter

Eligible attendees may receive Sweepstakes entries through the following free methods.

Event Check-In Entry: An attendee receives one Sweepstakes entry by completing the official attendee check-in process at the Bay Area ADU Expo. An attendee may receive a maximum of one check-in entry per event day attended.

MasayaCo Terrace Lounge Bonus Entry: An attendee may receive one additional Sweepstakes entry by visiting the MasayaCo Terrace Lounge and completing the designated Sweepstakes entry process using the QR code, tablet, or other entry method provided at the Lounge. No purchase is required at the MasayaCo Terrace Lounge. An attendee may receive a maximum of one MasayaCo Terrace Lounge bonus entry per event day attended.

An eligible attendee who attends both Saturday and Sunday may therefore receive up to four total entries during the weekend: one check-in entry and one MasayaCo Terrace Lounge entry per day.

Entries may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, duplicated, automated, or submitted on behalf of another person.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify duplicate, fraudulent, incomplete, manipulated, or otherwise ineligible entries.

5. Daily Prize Eligibility

Entries earned on Saturday, September 26 will be eligible for Saturday daily prizes.

Entries earned on Sunday, September 27 will be eligible for Sunday daily prizes.

There will be three daily prizes available each day, with one winner selected for each prize.

All valid entries received on both Saturday and Sunday will also be included in the Grand Prize drawing.

Winning a daily prize does not automatically disqualify an entrant from winning the Grand Prize.

6. Grand Prize

There will be one Grand Prize winner for the entire two-day event, not one Grand Prize winner per day.

The Grand Prize is:

The Grand Prize is provided by MasayaCo. Style, finish, configuration, and availability may be subject to confirmation by MasayaCo.

The Grand Prize must be picked up by the winner at the MasayaCo Berkeley Showroom, 1911 Fourth Street, Unit 104, Berkeley, CA 94710, unless otherwise arranged by MasayaCo.

Shipping of the Grand Prize is not included unless MasayaCo agrees otherwise.

The Grand Prize has one winner selected from all eligible entries received during Saturday and Sunday combined.

7. Daily Prizes

Each daily prize will have a separate winner selected at random from eligible entries for that event day.

8. MasayaCo Promotional Certificate Terms

One $250 MasayaCo Promotional Certificate will be awarded Saturday and one will be awarded Sunday.

Each certificate may be redeemed only toward a qualifying purchase of more than $1,000 at the MasayaCo showroom, subject to any additional terms printed on or provided with the certificate.

No purchase is required to enter the Sweepstakes or to be selected as the winner of a certificate. However, a qualifying purchase is required if the winner chooses to redeem the $250 promotional certificate.

The certificate is not redeemable for cash, and no cash value will be provided for an unused or partially used certificate.

Any applicable taxes, delivery charges, installation charges, or other fees associated with a purchase remain the responsibility of the winner unless MasayaCo states otherwise.

Any expiration date or additional redemption restrictions provided by MasayaCo will be disclosed to the winner.

The confirmed prizes have a combined Approximate Retail Value of $1,055:

Actual retail prices may vary. A winner will not receive the difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual retail value.

Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash unless specifically permitted by the Sponsor or applicable prize provider.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the originally advertised prize becomes unavailable.

Product appearance, color, model, packaging, and specifications may vary from promotional images or descriptions based on availability.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with accepting or using a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

10. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected by random drawing from eligible entries.

Drawings are expected to take place during the week following the Bay Area ADU Expo, beginning September 28, 2026.

Saturday daily prize winners will be randomly selected from eligible Saturday entries.

Sunday daily prize winners will be randomly selected from eligible Sunday entries.

The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible Sweepstakes entries received across both Saturday and Sunday.

There will be a total of seven prize awards:

• Three Saturday daily prizes

• Three Sunday daily prizes

• One Grand Prize for the entire weekend

The Sponsor’s decisions concerning winner selection, entry eligibility, and administration of the Sweepstakes are final.

11. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.

No purchase, payment, or transaction will improve an entrant’s odds of winning.

12. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted using the email address or other contact information provided during registration or Sweepstakes entry.

Official winner notification is expected to come from:

Potential winners should verify the sender before responding to a prize notification.

A winner will never be required to pay a fee to Convo Events LLC to claim a Sweepstakes prize.

Potential winners must respond to the winner notification within 14 calendar days from the date the notification is first sent.

Sponsor may require a potential winner to verify eligibility, identity, age, mailing information, or other information reasonably necessary to administer the Sweepstakes.

If a potential winner does not respond within 14 calendar days, cannot be contacted, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may randomly select an alternate winner.

13. Prize Delivery and Pickup

Unless otherwise stated, the VEVOR 19" Smokeless Fire Pit and Bodum 34 oz Pour Over Coffee Maker prizes will be shipped to the verified winner or made available for pickup or another delivery method arranged by Sponsor.

The MasayaCo Ometepe Outdoor Stool Grand Prize is pickup only at the MasayaCo Berkeley Showroom unless MasayaCo specifically agrees to another arrangement.

MasayaCo promotional certificates are subject to the redemption requirements described in these Official Rules and any additional terms disclosed on the certificate.

Sponsor and prize providers are not responsible for prizes that cannot be delivered because a winner provided incorrect, incomplete, or outdated contact or delivery information.

14. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to announce the winner’s name, first name and last initial, city of residence, prize won, and/or related Sweepstakes information in Bay Area ADU Expo communications without additional compensation.

Any use of a winner’s photograph, testimonial, or other additional likeness for promotional purposes will be subject to applicable law and any consent required by Sponsor.

15. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used for Sweepstakes administration, including confirming entries, selecting and contacting winners, delivering prizes, preventing fraud, and complying with applicable legal obligations.

Entering the Sweepstakes does not by itself require an entrant to consent to unrelated promotional marketing where separate consent is required by law.

Information may be shared with a prize provider when reasonably necessary to fulfill or administer a prize.

16. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who attempts to tamper with the entry process, obtain entries through fraudulent means, interfere with the fair administration of the Sweepstakes, violate these Official Rules, or engage in conduct intended to disrupt the event or Sweepstakes.

If fraud, technical failure, equipment failure, unauthorized intervention, security problems, or another circumstance outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affects the integrity or operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the affected portion of the Sweepstakes as reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.

If a drawing cannot proceed as originally planned, Sponsor may select winners from among the eligible entries received before the interruption.

17. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, by participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Convo Events LLC, the Bay Area ADU Expo, MasayaCo, The Bridge Yard, participating prize providers, sponsors, exhibitors, and their respective owners, officers, employees, representatives, contractors, and agents from claims arising directly from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or redemption of a prize, except where such a release is prohibited by law.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, corrupted, misdirected, or technically unsuccessful entries resulting from technical problems, network failures, device failures, QR code failures, human error, or circumstances outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

18. Prize Provider and Trademark Disclaimer

MasayaCo and other participating companies may provide prizes but are not the administrator of the Sweepstakes unless specifically identified otherwise.

VEVOR and Bodum are identified solely to describe the prizes being awarded. Unless expressly stated otherwise, VEVOR and Bodum are not sponsors, administrators, endorsers, or affiliates of this Sweepstakes.

Product names, trademarks, logos, and company names are the property of their respective owners.

The use of a company name or trademark in connection with a prize does not mean that company sponsors or administers the Sweepstakes.

19. Social Media Disclaimer

The Sweepstakes may be advertised through Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Eventbrite, or other online or social media platforms.

The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Eventbrite, or any other social media platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that such platforms are not responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes or fulfillment of prizes.

20. Governing Law

The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

21. Winner Information

Following completion of the Sweepstakes and verification of winners, Sponsor may publish the names of winners on the Bay Area ADU Expo website, social media accounts, email communications, or other official event channels.
